My role as a product Designer involves:

  • Own design problems end to end, starting with user interviews/testing (qualitative and quantitative) and     customer journey mapping to launching new products to users.
  • Setting design standardsand processes alongside team members to continue evolving the product/designteam and our ways of working
  • Having a human focused approach, balancing the customer needs and the business requirements.
  • Collaborate with developers to handover high fidelity prototypes with complex interactions, so they can concentrate on the building the best possible products.

My role as UI/UX Designer involved:

  • Collaborated with technical architects, programmers, seeing the product through the development lifecycle.
  • Conducted user interviews and user questionnaires,to gain valuable insight in to what the problems were and who we were solving them for.
  • Developed conceptual diagrams, wire-frames, detailed visual mockups and prototypes using Sketch, InVision and Balsamiq. These tools help communicate high-level design strategies and detailed interaction behaviour.
  • Led in communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale, all within a user oriented design process.
  • Heavily involved in gathering user requirements for new projects, asking key questions about the project, making sure that the project is design led.

Sports Marketing Intelligence(SMI) are a research company dedicated exclusively to the sports industry, delivering powerful engagement tools and insights to a range of clients. SMI specialise in developing dynamic online communities for sports fans to voice their opinion.

My role involved:

  • Taking the lead on the design of the new B2B Website, creating sketches, concepts, user journeys, wireframes and design prototypes
  • Involved with the user research survey’s gathering valuable insightsfrom the fans.
  • Managed the whole design and developmentprocess for both the B2B Website and the personalised client dashboards.
  • Produced and presented digital strategiesto key board members and other members of the team.
  • Setup high profile client meetings and presentations
  • In charge of increasing traffic on B2B Website, to generate more leads.

Sportfocus

Sportfocus is a dedicated and established online service provider who specialises in the provision of database driven integrated web based solutions. Sportfocus specialize in the sport sector dealing with governing bodies.

My role involved:

  • Led the creative process providing ideas to the development team, project managers and directors.
  • Showed creative flair with designs whilst keeping the branding guidelines at the forefront.
  • Produced conceptual diagrams, wire-frames, detailed visual mockups and prototypes using the Sketch InVision and Balsamiq.
  • Conducted and ran client training sessions
  • Built CMS templates/themes based on the detailed visual mockups produced.
  • Implemented Responsive Web Design using the front-end frameworkBootstrap.
  • Designed and built responsive semantic HTML5, CSS3 landing pages using JQueryplugins and interactions.
  • Worked within a development team using Agile and SCRUM methodologies.
